LITERARY EVENTS in the BERKSHIRES – february 2010

Wednesday, February 3, 7:30 pm, Wednesday Night Writer’s Group will meet at the Freightyard Pub Annex (upstairs small conference room) at Heritage State Park, North Adams, MA.

Share your work with local writers in this welcoming, community-based workshop. Members submit their writing and receive peer feedback on a rotating basis. FREE. Open to writers of all levels and styles.

WordPlay@PapyriBooks begins with a 45 minute reading by a featured local writer, followed by a brief intermission with refreshments, then the WordPlay Open Mic. In celebration of Black History Month, Jana Laiz & Ann-Elizabeth will read from “Weeping Under This Same Moon” and “A Free Woman on God’s Earth” (Mum Bet). Also Frances Sneed-Jones.
